Does anyone have any experience with Depo brand replacement fog lights for a 2001?
My stock lights have smashed lenses...
I found a set for a great price, shipped to Israel.
They have a plastic lens. There are only 2 reviews for them on Amazon, that don't exactly praise them so I wanted to check if any of you have experience using them.

I have Depot headlights, but that's all the experience I have with their products. I am happy with the headlights.
I can't say I've ever been impressed with oem style fogs tho, so you can't expect miracles with an oem replica.
Which bulb does yours use, the 881 or 886? 881 = 27 watts, 886 = 50 watts.

So the bulb used could have an impact on reviews also.TOOSTUBBORN2FAIL wrote:Use 886 bulbs in the fogs. 1250 lumens of output vs the 680 for the 881's.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.

Right on about the bulb.
In one of the reviews, that's exactly what the owner said: it takes the weaker bulb and his theory was that they did that so it won't melt the plastic lenses.
Well, working replacement lights are better than smashed OEMs...
The Depos will run me about $150 shipped including customs fees for the pair.
OEM Mopar from the dealer will cost $505 after tax!!!!

That may very well be true. I know they use the 50 watt bulbs in the plastic 1gn lights, but they are a little larger light, so the heat may not be as big of a factor.moe8555 wrote:Right on about the bulb.

Now if you could find an LED replacement bulb, that could put out the lumens, then it would be a win win.

My fog lights were pretty yellowed after about 7 years, so I replaced them with Depos. They still look perfect after 4 years.
