Got a club member who got his brand new mag head and used FF longtube. The primaries on the header are much larger in diameter than the exhaust head ports, so i suggested at least gasket matching the exhaust ports. Seems simple enough as its thin aluminum right there... Of course, it would be done professionaly.
But now there is an arugement out there that the velocity would be lost. I argue that the velocity is already lost due to the larger header primary pipe size and that it would do nothing but cause resistance.
Am i right? If not, please exlain further.
