Help with T5 LED

Post by Alex Kurdian » Thu Jan 30, 2014 11:45 pm

Hey Guys how is everyone

once again I have to re iterate how awesome this site is...U guys helped me out so much with my neon.....the Mazda forums I am part of are hopeless ....I Never get straight answers or no one answers at all...

But anyways I wanted a bit of help...my trunk LED is a T5 (#74) a small shitty light and I was going to put a LED strip in but for now its TOO much work as I need to take the back seats out and shelf just to get to the wire so I'm CBF on that...Becuase I have the child seats professionally fitted and the costs involved suck...I will eventually do it but no now...

SOO...what I would like to know is does anyone know how if I can get a mega bright bulb to fit in the T5 slot...or anything else I can do...

this is how small the bulb ishttp://www.ebay.com/itm/New-4-X-T5-1-LE ... df&vxp=mtr

its so tiny you don't even know its on...any help would be greatly appreciated

thanx guys

so long as you get the polarity right it should work.

have you checked out superbrightleds.com?

A quick search produced these results. Not sure how they will work for you but they have an intensity rating and various designs/colors. But for 10bucks (without shipping which may be ridiculous for you) it may be worth a shot.
