Speedo problems 2000 Chrysler Neon Export Automatic

Driving back hm speedo starts going up and down then goes to zero then back up then just died any ideas?
All other gauges are working fine cheers.

I would guess the speed sensor in the right side axle housing, or the wiring. Since all the other gauges get the signal via the same PCI Bus wire*, it points more towards the input to the PCM.








* Except the fuel gauge.
