Fuel line

Post by C1DoG » Mon Feb 24, 2014 6:31 am

I have searched and searched and can't find any info, so here goes.

A friend of mine asked... Do SRTs have different fuel lines than standard Neons? I am not sure so I thought I would ask here.
Drove my neon until it was killed in a flood.

Going by my old 04 parts manual, that year at least appears to have the same fuel line assembly, but the line going to the fuel rail differs (2.0s have part # 05278866AC, while the 2.4 turbo uses 05278963AC). Just what the differences in that line are I couldn't say.

The only difference in the line is in the supply line. It is bent a bit different from the firewall to the fuel rail. A regular Neon line can be made to work, since there is no size difference.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.
