What is everyone doing on the 4th? I am just going to stay home and watch a movie. Don't remember the last time I bought fireworks.

Clocked in at 9 p.m. on the 4th and just got home (Indy-Columbus, OH-Indy). Usual day.

I drove through downtown Indianapolis last night as the main fireworks show was going on. There were several signs along I-65 South telling people that parking on the shoulders to watch the fireworks was not permitted but the roadway was lined with people standing outside of their cars while three lanes of interstate traffic whizzed by. Kids as well! And I didn't see a single state trooper to enforce the no parking signs. Very dangerous!
