I have loved every single retro Hak has ever done, and the red lensed LED tails, and the gloss black tails, but I have to say, I really dislike these. I think its way too much orange. I don't mean to offend, but not my style.

*LOL* Thanks for the thought, Personally, I am going to be purchasing the black bezeled LED's eventually, I like the black and blue look...I think other then black, it would be too much colour out back for my liking, anyone want to P-Chop it for shiz and giggles?

More pics with both tails on the orange. I have never really cared if people agree with my work. I do it to be unique and to set myself apart from the crowd. Not everyone is going to like what everyone does. Thats fine and understandable by me. I like being different I guess which is why I have success in my work. ;)

What temperature did you heat the oven to get the clear face off the taillights? Im going ot be taking mine apart and I dont want to turn it up too hot that it melts completely

Nope. Just used a whole bunch of patience and carefully removed the paint by hand off each little LED

I did not use the oven. The lens would turn into liquid....well not really liquid but it would distort like no other. It may seem rigid and firm normal but believe me under heat it tunrs into putty and easily distorts 8) . I destroyed my first pair trying to open them and I didn't even use the even then  . Thats all I can say.

Sorry to resurrect this post, but i plan on opening up my tails as well, and since you say not to use the oven, what did you do exactly to open them up? Did you use a heat gun at least?
