Hey, I was looking to get some new bulbs (got some cheapies at BestBuy and one is burned out). I've had silverstars in the past and I wasn't impressed with them. They weren't brighter on the roads, just brighter to oncoming traffic. IMO, the brightest bulbs I've had were stockers. So compared to Silverstars and stockers, what would you say the Nighthawks are?Praesepe559 wrote:I use GE Nighthawks, heres how they look compared to stock
Stock

I wouldnt say the GE's are a whole lot brighter, i dont think you can really get one much brighter if its the same amount of watts. The major thing i noticed is that the GE's dont have more intensity, but the light that they do put out is more "white" i guess you could say. At night, everything reflects back at you alot better, which makes it easier for me to see. When i first switched and i looked at the difference against a wall i wasnt impressed, but after i drove somewhere without lots of city lights i definitely noticed i could see alot clearer and farther. And these suckers are good in the rain and heavy fog, something i could not say about the silverstars.
Looking for an '04+ base model front bumper in silver. PM if you have one you want to sell.
