new hood!!!
i just picked up a new fiberglass warbird hood. good fit, and very light weight. no pics yet, but when i get it painted i will post them. any thoughts about a flat black hood on a silver 01 R/T. just a thought

i didn't say exactly liek me... damn... lol. noone's car will ever be as ugly as mine.. unless it's all ruced out.... i hate my car

i did not think i would at first either, but when we test fitted the hood it looked very sinister.looks mean with the 01 R/T front fascia. in the begining all i wanted was the carbon fiber srt4 hood, but could not bring myself to drop that much cash on a non performance mod. i know it is lighter, and can be made to route air into the engine bay, but unless you cut a huge hole into the middle of the srt4 hood it would never let in as much air as the warbird. i run a full needle width on the temp gauge below the mid line. considerably cooler.
