Tully Fog doesn't roll. That scary ass shit seeps up outta the farmland like Satan himself. There is nothing worse than driving in that shit.
Coastal fog is a bit different. Gets just as creepy though out on Highway 1 near Big Sur and all that.

The fog around here hasn't been as bad as when I lived in Stockton. I had to sneak around on the farm roads to get to the bay area. The lack of civilization meant that you were all alone in that shit for like 30 miles, meandering around until you popped out of it when you were lucky enough to find an overpass. I don't miss that shit. Too many close calls.
The Altamont still gets pretty bad too. Those hills have their own weather system, I swear.. :?

Psshaw- you dont know heat, humidity, drought, and cold till you move to Missouri. :( We have a saying here; don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes, it'll change. Nothing like 110 with 90%+ humidity one day then 75 and breezy the next followed by another 90+ week of humidty :(:( Then in the winter, we get those damn cold spells of freazing rain topped with snow and sub zero weather! :):)

Ok, you may have the thread back.

Hey my Dad lives in Kansas City, MO.....Pretty crappy weather

I live in the central coast farmland so I know how it is creeping around in dense out of knowwhere fog in the middle of half dirt roads by your self..........but it is coastal fog so it only creeps for like a little bit and then bam your in the middle of a cloud with little bugs that bite and you cant see anything and you start to hear the coyotes......But if you go on a hill in the morning when the sun is rising and you go up till you are out of the fog it looks like you are in heaven looking down at earth

No Doubt Wisher....

As far as Misery goes..I've been to St. Louis on "business". Our Snr. VP of Service had a favorite club down there, P.T.'s...whoah. That place was pretty cool. The weather sucked ass though..

Yep. I married and lovin' it. I was stuck with a group of Service Techs in my VP's car in St Louis on business. Everyone was schnokkered. The VP paid for EVERYTHING on his company credit card. (This was also before I was married, my lovely wife and I were still dating at that point.)
Oh, and marriage doesn't mean your dead dude. If I wanted to go to someplace like that, my wife would say ok. (Then kick me in the nuts later!!! )
Good question though, I have been throwing out the perv-strip joint references lately, gotta' stop that.
