i just used hot water from a pressure washer, and then a credit card to get mine off. then i used an eraser wheel to get off all of the left over residue. Worked like a charm and took me like 20 minutes

What ever you do use 3m products....I am not plugging......just ask anyone at a bodyshop what they use and they will tell you 3m products pretty much all the way.....My ex-housemate was a bodyshop buy for about 8 years.....our house was filled with 3m crap.

wash your car

3m RC on spot only

3m paste wax on whole car

3m finishing wax on whole car

Job done

Also trade in your carbonfiber gas door for a professional sander and get some buffing and polishing pads for it with the couple bucks lunch money you allot your self

Not only will that spot look good but your whole car will be Bling Bling

ok so today it looks MUCH better. after i was done yesterday i washed it good with soap and water, and it was too dark to tell what happened. today i can hardly see anything. im gonna try to wax it and maybe buff it a bit, but i think maybe it was just a normal glaze from the goo gone or somethin. its much better looking now, and perfect from a distance! we'll see how it looks when i get more time after work to examine it. thanks everyone for all your help and advice!

Tracy is where most of the people who work in the bay area live.. Its off of the 205 in between 580 and I-5. I used to make regular trips there when I played baseball in Atwater/Merced. I heard they might run the BART line all the way into Tracy.

If you triangulate, I am exactly one hour from San Francisco, one hour from Sacramento, and one hour from Modesto (aka: armpit of San Juaquin County)

moxhairr/t is right. If you came down South across the bridge and through Walnut Creek, then hung a left on I580 and followed it for about 30 minutes - 4 hours (depending on traffic) you'd be at my house. If its ski or boat season it could take you a month to get here on 580. :mumum:

Superb thread hijacking everyone!

It could be worse, you could of used a SOS pad like i did in my nub years on my mitsu.

Oh and it gets real hott down here in the central valley. Even our pool becomes to warm to swim in after awhile.. Its like swimming in your bath tub. How awesome does that sound?

It sounds about as awesome as living in the Central Coast and having it 50degrees, foggy from 3pm on, and windy year round

Seriously, Tracy is pretty badass. I love this little town and the weather is cool. Yeah, my pool gets like peepee :pottytrain3: a few times a year but I can swim from March til October.

Its cool to see so many NOR-CAL folks on here now.. :headbang:

I remember coming home from a Baseball game at West High School... I sat on the on ramp next to In&Out for 5 hours.. then went 2mph all the way to the 120 to get on 99.

Great Memories. lol

Back onto the Subject.. I like my badges. So i'll never de-badge my car.. I might take off the Ding Strips down the sides though.

Just didnt like the fact I never had any money to do anything. It costs waaaay to much to live there. Plus the Valley was a Killer on me 5 months of the year because of my allergies. And then as a Performance Guy.. CARB and SMOG laws. lol

So when My parents moved to Florida I moved about 2 months after.

If I woulda known there were more Neon Guys in NorCal I might of stayed, 'Cause the guys who drive neons here in SWFLA are very... lets say DIFFERENT. I should be back in the Valley around July for my yearly trip. Won't have the neon with me as I will be flying. But I will be there.

Oh the Ding Strips are coming off after I finish installed me new Kazera Springs, Tokico Struts, Energy Suspenion Bushings, Progess 22mm Rear Sway Bar, and Progress 27mm Front Sway Bar. Struts, Springs and Bushings will be on Friday, the Sways will go on Next weekend. Tax Returns in Action. I have a UDP coming in the mail.. but I'm going to wait to install it as I'm not ready to go pulley pulling

That fog is one thing I dont miss... Being Guided by the CHP going 25mph on the highway and not being able to tell how close to the car in front of you you are. The Tuley Fog gives me nightmares.
