Eh, beats a smiley face or teletubbies or something like that.atom wrote:Nobody slap me but mine has one of those balls with the dodge logo on it lol.
I kinda wish our antennas were on the back. My mom's 02 Stratus has it in the passenger side rear and it looks better.

I agree with the rear antennas. It looks much nicer. My Buick has it on the rear fender.jonnymopar wrote:Eh, beats a smiley face or teletubbies or something like that.atom wrote:Nobody slap me but mine has one of those balls with the dodge logo on it lol.

i still wanna know where to find the antennas i saw on these srts at a car show a few months ago. they were only like 2" tall, and pretty thick. I think they were chrome too, and they looked nice and clean. my gf wants to get a shorty but the zzapp one aint that good lookin IMO.

Hmm, 6" might be too short I guess. Sure, there are aftermarket antennas that are that shorter than that, but they were also designed at that length. Stocker is 31". I had no reception issues with mine, but mine was only cut down to 18".03neonSE wrote:i just cut mine down to 6in, i kind of regret it because now i cant listen to the kid chris show on 94 wysp.

Since you already shaved your antenna in the front, you should try fabbing it in onto the rear of the car. THAT'd be pretty nifty. Annoying, but nifty.scneonchic wrote:hmm I like that. I want a black one.

maybe one day, but I doubt I ever will. I dont listen to the radio anyways, even if I did have an antenna. MP3 cds FTW. And satalite radio is personally a waste of money if you ask me. I can never find anything that I like on it.Nick Drake wrote:Since you already shaved your antenna in the front, you should try fabbing it in onto the rear of the car. THAT'd be pretty nifty. I was thinking Id get this for my caliber thoughIm going to check and make sure the screw holes on the ends are the same and go from there. the shortest the make for it 'officially' are 13" and thats still too long

I think it would be pretty easy to relocate the antenna to the rear. Just remove all the mounting hardware, create a new mounting hole, and just re-run the wire to it... just get an extender cable to run along the pass side fo the car. I think it would look clean.

From what I remember sir you just get a pair of pliers, put a good grip on it, and unscrew it. I could of course be wrong as I have not had to do it in years.*ICE* wrote:I ordered the black small one from Zapp, should be here soon. My question is how do you take off the stock antenna? flat head screw driver ?
