waterpump 1g = 2g?

waterpump 1g = 2g?

anyone know if theres a difference in the waterpump form 1g to 2g? i might as well replace mine when i do the cam, since ill be in there. just wondering cause i can get a 1g free

The block is nearly identical, the 1st gen pump should bolt up without issues.

yup its the same deal..
i had my water pump replaced with a friend that ownes a 1g, the pumps looked identical.. i compared them both. his was way torn up with the busted timing belt. mine was just leaking.
