Yea, all 02 magnums will. I have the Modern Perfomance one, and the CEL comes on at like 4500 and soemtimes it beeps. It goes off after a while around of driving around normal. Its not that big of a deal, I kinda got used to it. If it really really bothers you, just pull the bulb out and check your codes every now and then to see if its anything besides the misfire codes. Hope that helped.

Does this only effect 02 magnums? What about non-mags? :?

I believe it is with all '02s

On mine if I just get it above 5500 the CEL will blink then go off. If I take it all the way to redline or really run it hard above 5500 it'll stay on then after a few days it'll magically go out and the codes appear to be gone. But I can make it come back on ;-)

:( Anyone with an 02 non-mag not have the code? I realize that its not a code that will effect anything. But I cant stand the CEL and would not want to disconnect it.

 Yes, I have the damn thing too. AF/X UDP on a non-magnum. Same situation as above posts. Pisses me off. When I asked Gary Howell (June ' 04), he said he hadn't heard about it before. BTW, pull your neg battery cable for a minute, and all codes clear.

Ya know what, I've got an 01 and I've been getting the 0300 for a while now. MPX UDP went on, no CEL, SMT6 went in fine for a while, then 0300s. wierd.

I had 302 one time a little back.. I think that was misfire in cylinder four if i remember correctly. I have a 02 sxt and it happens all the time since I put in my UDP.

:?: Does any one know what triggers that code? Which sensor? Is it a function of the PCM? Would a different year PCM or sensor eliminate this? Does any one have an aftermarket PCM that has solved the problem? :?: :?: :?:
