How to remove RMVB???

Post by LCPLPunk » Sun Mar 19, 2006 10:45 am

Hey all,

I've started taking off my RMVB but i'm wonderning how to get the cylindrical piece going up into the tranny to let go of the valve body. Basically this piece is holding the valve body onto the tranny, and it's the only thing that's left holding it there.

Anyone know what i need to do to get this off?

Thanks!

Actually I don't remember, I didn't see the story anywhere, and I haven't been keeping up online since I've been working so damn much. But I'm gonna guess it went like this..."ping...ping....PING...BOOM!!"?

I also haven't really scoped out the forsale boards since I bought my new rims (CRABS!!!!!)

well...sorta went like that.

I was boosting 10 pounds and apparently didn't know i was pinging. Went to go get the car tuned and after about 30 minutes of attempted tuning the valve cover starts spewing out oil from the rear breather. I drove home and opened up the hood and there was a nice layer of oil all over the firewall.

I did a compression test and got numbers like 110/105/115/160.. :P
