Rebuilding my whole engine heres the list

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

might want to get rid of the long tube cuz you cant use one with a turbo.

using long rods with the stroker crank will introduce your pistons and valves to each other in an unpleasant way. i may be wrong on this, but i don't think so. you'll definitely want to check.
ooh...there's a glimmer of the dream left!!!

still cant use it. the turbo is bolted onto a manifold, so it wont really be like using a longtube header or any shorttube.

honestly i like the buildup idea but it seems to me that you are just placing every part uve found on modern or howell and put them on a list. if you are really serious about this id do some research and i hope u either have someone to do this for u or u know more than it appears. i mean, why stroke a 2.2 turbo when for prolly about the same price as a rebuild u can get a 2.4 srt motor setup(prolly around 35-4000 after everything is installed if you can do it urself. if i was building a turbo motor i wouldnt stroke anything, use forged low comp pistons that arent overbored, forged rods of stock height, use a head shim to lower compression even more and once im at about 7:1 comp or around there id up the boost. also a use of a standalone such as megasquirt will allow it to rev up to sky high with a properly built valvetrain. thats just me though. do what u want.

understandable that it takes a while to find. if your worried about the wiring harness then have fun with the build.

as far as the ten being worthless ill second that. for a build like that, depending on turbo size, id use either the 12 or 14.

wow. clearly you have little to no clue what your talking about.

who said the modern perforamce thing, cuz your absolutley corect.

afx ecu AND AEM ems? that'd be awesome.
Stage 2 hahn with a long tube? awesome
long rods on a stroker crank?LMAO
and then your missing some of the important things. spend 1200$ on a crank when you didnt even bother adding a r/t casting head in there?

for the amount of money youd spend just BUYING the parts on your list, before u even factor in labor for assembly. you could buy a wrecked srt4, sell the excess crap, BUILD THAT MOTOR, and buy an AGP kit, make 650whp, and STILL be ahead on what you would spend with your uber wish list.

you DONt need a stroker crank, you DONT need 2.2 pistons, and you DONT need a long rod set.

you can make 400whp all boost without any of that. and with that sweet 3.95 tranny you picked out, you wont be able to keep traction till 4th with anything over 300whp. let alone a 3.95 with 400whp. dude, do your research, its easy to come on and say what you think would be a sweet build, but we all know itll never happen. the stock crank NEVER breaks, save your money.
