Bellows tube dimensions...

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

Bellows tube dimensions...

Post by Ifixyawata » Wed Mar 29, 2006 3:32 am

Does anyone know offhand what the dimensions of the bellows tube are? That is the accordian-looking pipe between the intake and TB, right? The seller of my eBay CAI keeps dicking me around and I never got the straight piece of tube that's supposed to replace the bellows tube. So I've decided just to get a piece of exhaust tubing or something to make my own. It's been about 3 months and I'm tired of dealing with people who can barely speak English.

And is it 2.5" diameter just as the rest of the intake kit?

Excellent. Thanks for the help. I even think I have some 2.5" tubing left from the exhaust I put on my T-bird.
