I'm not trying to sound like a jerk here, but noTe why do you give a shit if someone has them on their car. Its their car and they are making the payments on it not you. I persoanlly thnink silver srt4s along with yellow and red are just aweful colors on the car. But I am not making a crusade against those colors and telling everyine to burn their car or get rid of it. Its their car, their choice.

Because about 90% of all Altezza's are made by APC. I hate the stupid company so damn much. They make fake roll cages you put into your car for carshows. They are made out of plastic I believe. Why would you put something on your car by people who make fake rollcages?

That's just one of the reasons. Colors on cars have nothing to do with aftermarket tail lights.

A car being painted is alot different majorly because it costs thousands of dollars to repaint a car and usually when it is done, it's done for show.

With these clear taillights, they are made by a company who makes fake performance products. There is a huge difference.

My take on the whole subject of altezzas.. not my car, I could really care less what someone does to theirs. If they like the looks of them so be it, if they like it thats all that matters. I don't like altezzas, you won't catch them on my car. But.. for show Neons or any car I understand why they are on there... it's a modification, they might not look the greatest (IMO) but it's a modification away from stock which will get you points. Going all performance won't get you points at a car show, if that was the case you'd have people with stock paint jobs and huge ass motors and every possible modification to the car from a performance stand point. Thats not a show car, a show car it's based on presentation, visual modifications done to the car to take away from the stock appearance and make it more unique. Now don't get me wrong, some performance mods add to it like big brake kits to fill the space from a larger wheel... a flashy CAI... ect... but going all performance while keeping a stock exterior doesn't get you points...

Ok enough of my rambling, kinda veered off track there but I got my opinion across.

cf/black chrome altezzas = depends on the car.

any modifications done to a car = do what you like, not what other people like. i may think chrome altezas are gay, but if you like them, use them.

personally i got tired of my CF 'tezzas, so i put my all red stockers back in,a dn i'm working on a trade with my CF 'tezzas to juicyjay504.... he wants them, that's his style, don't hate. just shtup and drive/mod/worry about your own fucking car.

I have rx300's with chrome....i have to say sometimes i look at them in the daytime and think they look retarded, then at night in parking lots i think they look amazing. I considered going back to stock but i already paid for them and it sets me apart from the other neons around here.

the tails werent gonna be for my car. Im not into altezzas. But when you get a chance pm me about the trade, im not sure if ill be able to do it for the tails as the dude locally that wanted them from me doesnt need them anymore.

I have hated altezza's since I first saw them on a car. I even think the original ones that came on the Lexus (Altezza) are terrible looking.

I am sorry guys but you totaly missed the point.

Those Altezzas I hate too especially the way they light up.

WHen i get them I will rip out the cover and replace everything with LEDs i think that i will use 4" Red Stop/ Park, 2.5" white for Back up and what ever the third one will be in amber color.

I was even thinking about doing all white LEDs that light up in the different collors. Would be kinda expensive though.

WHen i am finished with them i will let you guys know how they look. I will tint the glass too so you cant see the outlines as well.

Probably will do red tint on the lower portion and a darker black tint on the the top with. I will try to split them like the Export ones.

So everyone keep tight and we will see.

By the way If i really dont get the feel for them after the mod I will probably end up selling them.

I dislike tastless modification. that is it... if it's tacky it sucks..chrome altezzas on a car with no chrome = TASTELESS.
Now tinted taillight lenses on a black car? kinda cool. take these for instance...

These would go well with a "blackout" theme.
I'm even thinking about putting these on MY car!! Time will tell.
