magnaflow muffler part #

Post by tamadrumr88 » Tue Apr 04, 2006 2:48 pm

im speaking of the 2.5" Camaro/Firebird Muffler that "everyone and their brother" uses for the 2g acr/rt with the bumper cutouts. my longtube muffler-less setup is getting too much for my ears and is irritating my neighbors.... anyone know what the part number is, i couldnt pull up any information on jegs or summit or even magnaflow's own site about this muffler

EDIT:

is this it? the outlet/inlet looks in the wrong spot

Is this a factory replacement style, or is it a louder, performance style? I want an exhaust, but I don't wanna buy out the nose, but I want something with a bit of a growl...

if you just want a growl, i have i stock r/t muffler on my sxt and that sounds mellow but when i get on it there is a nice growl. I got mine for like 50$ but lately they seem to be going for around 80$

No, thanks though, way too quiet for me, I want something loud, but not obnoxious. I love the Thermal, but its a bit out of my price range...

then yea this would work but you have to weld it on and then bend some pipe for the tips. a buddy from my old carclub has this on his car sounds sweet.

well at the moment i have my fastfabs longtube, to a high flow 2.5" cat, then moroso 2.5" spiral flow muffler, to the srt rear section. its very loud but at times it CAN be a good loud. its not a ricer-ish tone at all, and in fact, its deeper than a few srt's i parked next to at the tuning shop i frequented this past weekend.... made a nice conversation piece nonetheless but it way too loud for me.... on to magnaflow!!!!
