Winter's coming back....

Post by Rapley » Wed Apr 05, 2006 12:14 am

Well, it got colder again today, and was snowing for a bit, so i drove down by the lake and noticed it was all wavy and thought, Ah what the hell, i'll take some pics. May not be sunny, and the flipping date stamp sucks (didn't notice it was set to come on), but i tried. I wanted to drive furthur out onto the pier, but then thought maybe it wasn't smart.

Got about 3" overnight... Definitely not good for the new wheels, nor is it really safe with the Toyo Proxes FZ-4's. :?

Damn Canada is pretty.... Too bad it has to be cold most of the year up there. Love the picts. Dblsg, that looks like a lake close to where I live... But then again, it seems like all ponds/lakes look the same in the midwest...IDK

Its like 50 here and very windy! Trying to do anything outside is difficult. I never had to mow my grass in the wind with a light coat on. :? Figures it would be cold and windy on my day off work this week. Oh, well, I guess it will warm up soon. :P

It was snowing pretty damn hard today (Wednesday). Just a bit of it stuck to the ground but still. There were some massive snowflakes coming down. Walking from my classroom to my car, my face become blistered.

The professor actually stopped lecturing because he was astonished by the snow.

Then, wouldn't you know it, in about 3 hours the sun came out and there wasn't a cloud in the sky? But it was still freezing out. In fact, at the game tonight, they played video footage of the snow coming down on the field lol.

As for Rapley's pics, they're very nice. The photoshop is a good job too.

thanks for the comments peeps :D I'm hoping to get some better pics in that location when the sun is setting. Hopefully they'll turn out good, considering the fact that apparentally Kincardine has like...some of the top sunsets in the world :? , meh, we'll see.
