Money

Post by dominiaa » Thu Apr 06, 2006 11:46 pm

So My job approved me for tuition reimbursement for three classes at my college. With the precentage taken out from the amount of scholarships I receive, I should be getting 4000 back tax free in my checking account, not to mention some grad cash. I'll have it all by the end of May. So what do I do, Turbo the R/T with an SRT setup, or pick up a used SRT. I love the R/T and think it looks better than the SRT, not to mention that I hate most of the D-bags that drive SRT's around me, but buying a used SRT would be a hell of a lot easier. What would you guys do.

Save it for something more important than car stuff. :) You'll thank yourself later. Or at least don't use ALL of it for the car. But, if you really can afford to use most/all of it for the car....I say turbo the R/T. 8)

Save it. Neons are fun and all, but getting that much closer to buying a house is more fun.

A house really isn't a concern for me right now, Iv'e got a job lined up makeing pretty good money at my bank and I'm going back to school for my MBA in the fall. I Also already participate in my bank's employee stock purcahse program, and am makeing around 20 percent with the deal they have for employees on stock. The cash I'm getting is going back into either the R/T or to put a down payment on a used SRT. Don't wanna really do the SRT swap, I think its a waste of a perfectly good R/T motor. i think turboing it is the way to go, and maybe pick up a beater for the winter over the summer.
