Grab a corner, rip off.

Then clean up the sticky residue with some sort of noncaustic cleaner, wax, enjoy.

actually the paint will be in better shape than the paint that is visible (depending on how well you kept your car)

i took mine off and there were teeny tiny dark bubbles in the paint where the adhesive was.. that was about it. i found that WD-40 was really good to remove the adhesive.. you just gotta take it slow, i used a credit card with a smoothed edge on it (i took sandpaper to it before i used it) and go SLOOOOW. that paint will chip before you know it. spray some '40 on a rag, wipe the adhesive to soften it, and lift it with the card. DON'T scrape. you'll probly never get rid of the faint lines on the paint from where they were, but its only an '03 so that might be different. mine is an '01 so i'll be painting my car here soon anyway.

Removing side moldings:

tools needed:

hair dryer (optional)
credit card
goo gone/ sticky remover / wd-40
wax

if you are using the hair dryer..heat up an area of the glue at either end..then pull it up..once u have a firm grasp on the piece heat up a little at a time and with the credit card..move down the molding using the cc to "cut" the glue persay..when u get the end..use ur goo gone/ sticky remover / wd-40 to get the rest of the glue up..then repeat on other side..then wash your car really good and WAX IT!!!

here some pics for u to enjoy of mine before / after

There is my car now, I took the side moldings off about a year ago, after a month or so, you won't be able to notice it.

they look way better without the molding on them. I think it gives it a more sleek look to them

If someone opens their door into yours...chances are they will miss the mouldings anyway,
