Post by kirktalife » Thu Apr 27, 2006 9:22 pm

my volume control seems to be gettin more messed up as time goes by, i cant turn it up unless i got SUPER slow on the dial, if i go normal or fast it doesnt change or if it does anythin it gets lower, i have to go really slow to turn it up on the dial, common problem?

Sounds like you might wanna' try some ole' electronic parts cleaner and take a couple shots in there just to see if it helps... My last aftermarket deck, a POS Blaupunkt, starting doing that to me after the first month I had it. It was worse though - When you'd go to turn it up, it would turn down unless you put pressure on a certain part of the spinny wheel thing... It was a pain in the ass, but nothing fixed it.

just get a detachable face and take the face with you... just make sure you don't loose it :D that was my problem and the reason for rarely taking mine out.
