No holes under the moldings, just double sided tape. Looks awesome when you have it done! Good luck

theres no holes but depending what year, you'll probably see a dull mark where the molding was. i heard it takes 8-12 months for it to disapear. also, probably see some bubbles. make sure to take a heat gun or a hair dryer and heat it up good other wise, the 2-sided take will stick to the paint and it'll be a bitch to take off.

Be prepared to go to the local parts store to get some 3M double sided tape to put them back on... It's possible for the paint to be bubbled underneath. :(

mine came off with some muscle and goo gone, and they left no marks and no bubbling, but then again my car is less than a year old and has only been through one summer of heat and sun, so results way (and will) vary. its a great mod and very simple and cheap! just takes some time and like 03 said be prepared to stick em back on if there is bad paint underneath, as it will look worse :)

I took mine off my 01 in 03 and the paint was fine...I was lucky I guess though.

my paint had faded, so under the side molding it appeared a diffrent shade of red, its still like that after 1 year.

If the car is a darker shade of whatever color under the side moldings..... POLISH THE CAR. It will all but go away. I took mine off at 1300 miles so I had no fading.

I took mine off yesterday. Let it sit in the sun for a few hours and then peel it off slowly. It looks so much better plus I had dirt under mine somehow so getting rid of that helped save from potential rust spots. Good Luck to you.

cleaning the car and waxing/polishing is a good way to help eliminate the fade, but nothing works better than some sun and some real weather to fade it all up.

Yeah, thats what im thinking. It hasnt even been through any heavy weather situations yet, so i dont think there will be any cosmetic problems.

Right there man. Best shit out there. I use it like car wax. Put it on, let it dry, then wipe the haze off with another cloth. You should see the 16" chromes on my mom's Stratus when I get those done. Absolute mirror finish.

I've used this stuff on more coated aluminum rims than anything, as well as chrome rims and the massive 20" stock polished rims on my brother's 04 Ram. So far, this stuff has worked on anything I put it on. It's not actually chrome polish, it's "mag and aluminum" polish. For me it's worked great on anything. Hell, I even used some on the intake on my friend's 98 Jetta.
