new sub decision help....

since i sold my old setup because i wanted something else. [btw was sold to a fellow 1st gen/SRT4 owner]. well i have basically $350 to spend on a amp, box, sub, and all the wiring. so heres where the advice or whatever comes in.

so i have a choice between to [2] 12" Rockford fosgate P3, 1000watt kenwood amp, a sealed box, and probably all the wires needed for $300. or i can get a 12" RE audio HC12 in a 3.2c^ft box and hifonics 1500d for $420.

would would be a better choice, i know the P3s is one hell of a deal.

hey hey...i was getting to lazy...and plus no damn store around had what i needed. so i just sold it all and starting over.

well before i go with the P3s...does anyone know if a 36" wide box would fit inbetween the wheelwells...i know it measures at 35.5"-36".

ahh forget it...im getting the RE HC12...if the box dont fit, im just going to sell it and get another box.

12" RE HC12
Various wires and battery terminals

all for $400...trying to get it this saturday.

yea, that is a mighty cheap price for the P3's there could be something wrogn with them or something?

guy said they work..and that he would even leave them installed in his car when we meet up.

ok so i got the HC12 and the box is HUGE.....it takes up half the trunk and we had to lower the rear seats so it could fit. man oh man....now i need to sell this box and get another and then get some more wiring. :]
