+1 for shizzle, even tho mine arent chrome anymore! and if someone would please come up with a way to get rid of the funky black plastic mesh in the 03+ grille id be stoked! maybe a custom CF grille more like the older 2gns? like just a line across or something.

interesting... those would be really easy to make too.... what would you prefer, stick on, or full pannel? i could make those for super cheap out of spare cloth chunks since they take so little material

yeah, I like the gauge surrounding thing, and I think the armrest on the center console would look cool, too. and how about those pieces on the door panels with the window switches on them?

are u making B pillars as well? someone said that they wanted to ditch the tan interior accents and the more i think about it the better it sounds. cf headliner too FTW.

btw are u interested in making parts custom for other cars if u are sent the part for molding? should i contact u in a PM about that?

what about an overlay to go over the SRT lip? nothing crazy or huge, just a simple direct overlay over the factory lip on the bottom of the SRT bumper

wow, that's a really good idea... will have to sleep on it to decide if it'd be rice or not but that sounds interesting indeed

i have though about it for a long time.... i wanna find a way to use the stock brackets without needing cores though, otherwise the actual skin of the roof glass is VERY easy to do; i'll have something for you by the end of summer

hey, I'm not sure how I'd do this, but I really want my AAR-style hood to get a layer of carbon fiber on it. it's fiberglass right now, but I got rear-ended and thinking about going with a carbon trunk. do you think this would be possible.

ANYTHING can be overlaid with Carbon Fiber....especially Fiberglass.

In all reality...99.9% of the parts that Carbon By Design kicks out the door are actually Fiberglass overlaid with Carbon Fiber.....

What about the outside B pillars???? What would a set of 4 run? Preferably on an 02 :D Seriously, I have moolah and am want to spend it before it burns a hole in my pocket - plus, the damn pillars are so faded and look like poo. :(

^^^ lambostealth already offered to make these for us, so unless he stops doing them or people really dont like what they look like, i'm not gonna undercut him; there's really no point in us going head to head, neither of us has time to even keep up with the current amount of stuff you guys want, let alone go out and make more... i at least dont have time for that, i wanna focus on bigger stuff more or less, like fenders, bumpers and the like...

i ordered 20 more yards of fiber, and the shop i got it from actually had it in stock so hopefully it'll be waiting for me when i get back home; this means that within a month or so, i should have the first SRT4 bodykit prototype (front bumper, rear bumper, and sideskirts). I hope you're just as excited about that as i am, coz i think they will kick some serious ass; and have no fear, i ordered the proper clear epoxy and quality gels to start propper production of these and all the earlier parts i've made, and will be making

ooo yeah can't wait for this shiznit to happen. I think you might need some 3m tape too for the B pillars and such. I think CBD have 3m tape and you just stick it on? I know my gas cap cover just had 3m tape.

yeah, but most double sided tape would work just as good... the vortex generator they sent had the same thin strip of 3M tape as for the small parts (i have gas cap too) and i just ripped it off and used some wider shit from wallmart that semed to make it fit a lot better...

does that vortex gen make any difference that you can feel? ive heard good things about them, but i wonder at what speed they actually start to do anything aerodynamically. keep us updated on the project rice

i have no idea if it does or not... i hung a bunch of streamers around the roof line and imo they flowed pretty much the same with and without the generator... the srt is already really stable even above 120 so i cant think of any way to test it...

BUT, here in europe, i see the little shark fin VG on TONS of cars... BMWs, Volvos, some Opels, and the odd other car, they all have the shark fin... and i'm not talking about the cellphone antena, i mean the actual wings (in north america they only really have them on the new BMWs, but they look identical)

yup... from making the bigger parts i end up with tons of various cloth chunks that i either keep, or throw away if they're too small, so that'd be perfect for small stuff like this.

i'm curious....

so far, the fit from the 3 A pillars i made isnt exactly perfect, because stock they fit in so close to the dash.... i was thinking of making full CF A-pillars so the fit would be flush, but that would take 3 layers, and obviously more work.... would you want to pay a little more for that or would it not be worth it? If you say NO dont worry, i'm thinking of ways around this and have a couple ideas that i'll be trying when i get back....

I think full CF replacement pieces would be way cooler than overlays, i have enough of those as it is!
