Take about tight squeeze...(56k maybe)

Post by Anonymous User » Tue May 23, 2006 11:14 pm

well....when i bought the box i had to fit it in my trunk vertically with one of the sides of the rear seat down, with the sub int it. so today i tried it with just the box without the sub...and here is what it looks like with it pushed as far as it can go without taking out anything or moving it.

Top View, less that 7in of space

so the conclusion is...i need to sell/trade this box for another ported box...sealed for the sub i have is teh p00p.

and heres some pics of the stuff i bought recently, sold my old system. not pictured is Alpine CDA-7893

My buddy had a dual 12" bandpass box in his 1st gen that was designed to go into like a Yukon or Suburban. He got it for $20 off this girl I knew that got it for like $50 because it was too big to go into many cars. She had it in her Probe with the back seat folded down and it still touched the window when the hatch was closed. He got it loaded and literally had to kick it into the trunk of his car. It dented a few things in the processes but after 3 break ins on his car, it was never stolen! I think he crowbared it out of the car before junking the rest of the car. HA!
