His WRX looks really nice after we cleaned it up and waxed it. The color of the paint, it may look black in the shade but when the sun hits it in the right direction it's a very dark metallic blue that looks great.
The wheels are 17x7.5 SSR Competitions that are Semi-Forged and weigh about 13.3lbs without a tire.

Hows the downdraft holding Jason? I am still thinking of getting one, but after your problems, I am a little nervous...Diablo0 wrote:Thanks! The Cemetery is actually quite nice with how big it is and believe me, it's HUGE and for a cemetery it's quite nice looking with the huge momuments. The secenery is good enough that some people go there to have some of their wedding pictures take. They also hold a photo contest for photographers.

Spring Grove Cemetery.
I've ALWAYS wanted to do a shoot there.
My grandfather is buried there. My other grandfather went there for years and years every day and fed the ducks. There was a write-up on him in the old Scene (now the Cincinnatiian) magazine.
Beautiful car Jason. Great back drops. The rex is a sexy piece of machinery too..... mmmhmmm

Yep... Spring Grove... I can't count the number of times I've rode by it growing up and never gone in but a few times. Other day I went in and I was amazed at how good it looks. Typically when I think of a cemetery I think overgrown grass, bushes, ivy, ect.... not here. Just about everything was trimmed well and looked good.
THe change is so small you can hardly notice it.
raul... no one died, in my family that is but my Great Grandmother is burried in there... Somewhere
Thanks guys!
Eh... It's on... sorta. The drivers side corner doesn't want to stick down so it's either I decide if I want to take it off or if I do want to leave it on to glue it down so it never comes off again. I've got a few days to make up my mind before the drive to N2k6. Whats everyones opinion? Leave it on or take it off? I can't decide which looks betterEclecticBlue wrote:Hows the downdraft holding Jason? I am still thinking of getting one, but after your problems, I am a little nervous...

Black handles sooooo much better. The white one I swear, witht he stock SRT suspension, it rides like a boat with how much ti sways back and forth and up and down. I feel like I'm riding in a luxury car in the white one with how it glides down the road where the black one is rather rough.
Thanks Sam!
I'm still trying to think of a good industrial spot to take pics at night where I won't get shot for being in some gangs "hood"
The spoiler isn't completely formed to the shape fo the trunk so you really have to push it on to make it fit. It's not a lot of pushing but it's enough that the tape doesn't hold it for more than a few days before the corners start to pop up about 5mm or so. Enough that you can see under it to see the tape and push down on it. It's kinda growing on me so I think I'm gonna glue it on either today or tomorrow.E3EsXt02 wrote:jason what problems did you have with the wing? i like it on the car but i also like it wingless....if it was mine i'd probably go wingless

Wings are for Cavaliers dude. Lose it. (I admittedly had one on order but cancelled it in a moment of clarity.)
It blends really well on the car actually. Kinda' like those old-aluminum Pro-Stock wings...needs a parachute.
I am not a wing man.
I see nothing wrong with a picture shoot in a cemetary. Dead-car guys need to see some cool cars once in a while too. Nothing but slow moving Cadillacs must get boring for em'.

Yeah I wasn't sure if I liked it in the beginning mainly b/c I'd have to permanently attach it to the trunk b/c it wont' stick but it's really growing on me as long as it stays down. The spoiler isn't huge by any means and b/c it's CF on a CF trunk and on a black car it's hardly noticable until you get up on it. I dunno... it sorta adds something to the rear end so the trunk lid just doesn't make a 90deg and drop off. I really wish it was built into the trunk but beggers can't be choosers.grambo wrote:Wings are for Cavaliers dude. Lose it. (I admittedly had one on order but cancelled it in a moment of clarity.)

Thanks Draven! Yeah I don't think I've seen many of his color either, or if I have I've mistaken it for black isntead of Midnight Blue I believe it's called. What'd you do to your headlights and I'll pass it on?

Bake the headlights in the oven, and you can pull them apart! I removed the Yellow dome that sits in the top of the light and replaced it with a titanium bulb, and painted the Chrome insert glossy black!
You cant really see how AWESOME they look by the pic but it looks 1000 times better in my opinion!

Look for the DIY for the Koji Headlights. I just left out the PCV piping for the projector look.

Yeah going from my modded R/T to the SRT was hard. The handling around turns was very scary. The car would just all of a sudden lean really bad in the back. I have since put the Hotchkis sways on and it makes it much much better. Jason you car looks nice as always too.

Awesome pictures! the scenery is great, even though its a cemetary. Your car looks amazing as always. I like the spoiler, but I would not put it on a brighter colored car or on one w/ out a cf trunk actually. I think it blends well because your car is black and the trunk is cf also. But I would be hesitant too about permanently attaching it

Yeah he still has it and going to try and sell it here soon since he doesn't drive it anymore. Awhile back I thought he was joking about not driving it but he said the battery is dead so my guess is yeah he doesnt' drive it at all lol. I don't think he's even touched it since he still has a swaybar he bought for it in the trunk that he has yet to install on it mainly b/c he needs to buy brackets for it, but even still the bar has been in his trunk going on a year now haha.TNK wrote:does evl still have his Neon?
