will a srt-4 turbo hook up to a sohc neon with out a new ecu or other parts and would it be worth it on a automatic?

yes and yes. there is a wealth of info about that stuff here and on neons.org.

most will say autos suck and such, but they are ok imo. which trans do you have the 3 speed or the 4 speed. i honestly dont know how much power either can handle, so you should find out about that before you do anything.

i just got finished buying everything i need for my srt turbo add on to my 05 sxt i'm right at 1900 and actually still need a few oil lines coolant lines for the turbo and fittings for the oil drain from the turbo. so probably another $200.00 worth of stuff still to go. then going to put forged internals in in january or before if it goes pop but hopefully not i have a wide band to monitor a/f ratio's and such and also got a new melling oil pump

you'll easily spend $2000 on this setup. I managed for $1500 , but i had an awesome buy on the turbo and the IC. the rest was all new.

do some research, there is tons of info here. Search my previous posts. I did the entire setup already, and i know of at least 1 guy on here that did it with an automatic.

its a quick setup if your using a stock bottom end. IF YOU WANT FAST you need to do more *cough* bottom end *cough* megasquirt v3 *cough cough*

Yea, almost always its 2000+. The only time its under 2g is when people dont account for all the supporting mods or they got things for next to free. Lots of people dont account for all the little things they need to, its decieving when you have a room full of parts and you think you are done, but theres lots of little pieces that you will need when you start the install. Alot of depends on how many tools you have to, because buying tools for a single job gets expensive

On a serious note buy a wrecked SRT its much less trouble and if you do it right won't cost that much more.
