Advice please

Post by Savior00 » Thu Nov 11, 2004 1:38 am

OK so here it goes. I arrived late to school one morning and had to park between a van and some car. I for some reason just didnt feel safe there but it was the only spot i could find. I took the lisence plates of the guys beside me for some reason too....just a preminition I guess. So after finishing my day I come back to the car to see the front left bumper / fender is crunched in and my corner lense is shattered.

Next day I found the bastards van in the parking lot again and checked his bumper where I thought he may have hit me. Sure enough there were perfect matching scratch marks on his van.

I left a note on his car and told him to call me but when he called I wasnt home so i called him back.. Owner denied everything!

I dont know too much about law but I am prety sure hes in the wrong for leaving the scene without leaving me any information.

What next step should I take?

Thanks in advance

Ditto... I would still call the police.. Did you call them before you moved the car? You should always call the cops first before you touch anything. Insurance "if you have some" will need a police report to start a claim.

If it were me... Man I don't know.. I love my baby too much... I would beat the owner with the bat..

you have 2 choices.

A. you leave his car alone and report the damage and have it fixed by his insurance company.

B. you follow him home or to work one day and when he leaves his car you smash the living shit outta his van and drive off, but the down side is you cant report your accident so youll have to eat the repair cost.

id say go with A, and if that falls thro, then go with B and beat his shit down.

Try option 3...

slip under his car and remove oil drain plug. take plug with you, get home and drill hole in plug, insert keyring, smile, and enjoy your new keepsake.

haha,
thanks guys. I for sure like the bashing his van idea! And I havnt taken pictures of it yet but i will ...plus I dont want to make a claim on my insurance coz that will cost me in the long run. Im thinkin of finding his van again and taking pictures of the little scuffs he recieved from smokin the shit outa my car. Damn beastly vans.

I had to leave the scene before calling anyone bcause it was 11 pm and i had to go home regardless of the damage.

sure sux though.

then again maybe this is a sign from my car saying it wants an R/T front end.

I made that comment out of frustration, the van is probably clean by now. Still worth a try with a camera, and maybe a golf club to take out his new scratch.
