6 disc Changer Warranty Question

Post by MoxHair » Tue Jun 20, 2006 11:20 am

Ok to go along with my rear windows leaking water My 6 disc Changer isnt working, It wont play, change discs, or eject discs. It might need to be cleaned or it's completely dead.

I'm just curious if it would be covered under warranty. Car only has 26000 miles on it.

Anybody have any tips on how to get the changer out and how to clean it?

As long as you don't have any stereo mods such as different speakers or anything they can blame it on they should cover it no problems. Just tell them to look at it when you roll in for your rear window problem that they should also fix under warranty.

You have to remember the time on the warranty also. 3 years. 36000 miles. It should be covered if everything your stereo is stock, and your within the warranty limits.
