Yeah, I was surprised but if you think about it the Mazda dealer was in a position to make some good money off replacing my turbo, almost $700 in labor. I'm glad to have a brand new turbo on the car, its one less thing to worry about ya know. I have not sure if I can still get the Mopar Stage 2 WGA New, I put out a WTB on SRTForums and on here. I Really did like my AGP WGA but i don't drive the car like I use too and while I enjoy peaking at 20lbs on DaB 3 I'm sure the Stage 2 WGA can do that without all the PTB.

Update: Stage 2 Wastegate
Okay,
So I have been doing some research on if I can find a Stage 2 WGA New. I have some bad news:
0 in Parts Depots
0 at the dealers
0 in Production
Now I have called around and found more information. Chrysler is due to post their new price listings, etc and announce their production runs for parts, the Stage 2 WGA Could still make it in there, but I have a feeling it won't.
So. If you have a Stage 2 WGA for Sale, PM Me immediately with Pictures and a Price.

I found a Stage 2 WGA Here on 2GN, problem is its oversea's so I have to wait. I got very few offers and Mopar no longer offers these for sale new. On the clutch front I have decided to go with the ACT clutch and flywheel and I am working with a shop on that and hope to have progress there. The new Turbo is about broken in and is doing fine, I plan to buy the following at the same time:
1. Timing Belt Tensioner
2. ACT Clutch Kit
3. Prothane Bushings
4. Plugs/Wires
I did have additional plans for some other suspension work but I am saving up to buy a house so I only have around $1000 to work with at the moment. I want a Garage. I still have some concerns about the Autozone Waterpump but it seems to be good build quality and does have a Metal Impeller, I also HAD concerns about the Goodyear Timing Belt but I'm sure both of those parts will be fine on the car.

What do you mean? I was going to go with the Steel Flywheel? How does it ruin a street car?LilSparkPlug wrote:Awesome that you finally found one. Running into a problem here ... I am only finding the Prolite Flywheel 600340 part number. I thought there was a steel flywheel from them that was basically an OEM Replacement.LilSparkPlug wrote:No the steel one is basically an OEM replacement so you should be great with that. Right now my car still has a powertrain warranty. They are saying that the clutch is the issue so I am going to replace that and then show them it still kicks out of gear. They should eventually replace the tranny or rebuild/fix it.

Okay after a few phone calls and a flurry of emails here is what I have determined. The clutch kit I am looking at is the DN3-HDSS (Doesnt include the flywheel). The Flywheel they have is a Steel Flywheel. The issues they have seen with shifting are the result of worn Shift forks. I don't currently know the condition of mine but I am going to replace it while I have this all apart. The ACT Flywheel should be fine.
The unfortunate side to this is now this is going to cost me more than I had planned. Here is my new list let me know what you think:
1. Clutch Kit + Flywheel
2. Clutch Fork
3. New Flywheel Bolts & Loctite
Now my question is isn't there a pivot ball if the Clutch Fork? If so should I replace that too? Just making sure I get everything that goes with that ya know? I do need to find out if the Clutch will void my Warranty through Fidelity.

its 11lbs. I don't know if thats light weight. I am checking on the TOB as well. Do you have the part number for the ball. The pivot is a seperate part. Part #4670240...MSRP $11.95 And if you want to be complete, replace the clip that holds the lever to the pivot too. Part #5019842AA...MSRP $9.60

That is funny. The pivot and the clip are the same part for the 350 and the 850 trans. Just the lever is different. Hell, the TOB is almost the same as well. The SRT TOB has a larger surface area where the bearing hits the pressure plate. It looks like a big washer. Where the shift fork hits it is the same.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

The shift fork is insanely different, here I'll take a picture I have a brand new t350 Fork here and a used t850 Fork as well. I have a brand new t350 TOB here but no t850 TOB to compare it to. Pivot ball is in the pictures also.

Dbesade: While I posted these I may as well educate as to why you should replace the shift fork. Look at the t850 lever in the first picture. Over time the TOB wears an uneven surface into the fork due to it being a soft metal. This causes sloppy shifts, a noisy TOB, and eventual clutch issues. It could be contributing to, but not causing, all the issues you have with third gear and would also contribute to the difficulty of getting into any gear, along with a low pedal.

Okay so I have been complaining about needing to get a lot of maintainence done on my SRT for some time now. Well I have been collecting parts and writing down what I need to do the following:
*Timing Belt Replacement
-Water Pump
-Idler Pully
-Belt Tensioner
-Replacement Belt
*Clutch Replacement
-ACT Clutch Kit DN3-HDSS
-ACT Flywheel
-New Flexplate Bolts
-Replacement Fork & Ball
*Suspension work
-All New Bushings
-Ball Joints
Well today was a good day. I have ordered the rest of the parts for my Timing Belt Change. I ordered them from Mopar.com so they are coming directly from Chrysler/Mopar. I also ordered the Balljoints from Rock Auto, 2 of them, the MOOG Parts to replace my current ones. I also ordered an Energy Suspension Master Kit for my SRT to replace all my worn out and torn bushings. Finally I am finalizing the clutch order and hope to have that ordered maybe on Monday. I am still going to need the Clutch Fork & Ball but I am waiting on those until the next paycheck. I also am waiting on my Stage 2 Wastegate.
I can't wait until the boxes start coming in
